Healthcare Provider Solutions is a growing healthcare company, founded in 2001, providing consulting to the home care and hospice industries.  Healthcare Provider Solutions’ core services include home care & hospice billing, collections, receivable collection projects, outsourced coding & OASIS reviews, clinical compliance, chart reviews, mock surveys, operational reviews, and education through seminars and webinars.

Our company is seeking a full time Collections Consultant to work on our Home Health Team. The ideal candidate for this job has a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial claims follow up and collections and has excellent time management skills.



Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Ability to work in an office, in person.
  • Collections for multiple clients
  • Ability to read an insurance contract and monitor claims accordingly
  • Track trending issues
  • Work with multiple systems daily
  • Review EOB’s to identify payment errors, denials and low reimbursement
  • Identify and correct claim errors in a clearing house
  • Make phone calls to insurance companies for claim follow up
  • Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections


  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office efficiently, including Outlook (email and calendar), and Excel is a must
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow directions in English
  • Must have knowledge of basic math skills
  • Knowledge of how to use a phone line system, copier/scanner, fax, and email is a must
  • Must be able to sit for at least eight hours per day and look at a computer screen
  • Must be able to work in the office, in person every day, Monday-Friday

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly, DOE, 40 hours per week, full time, non-exempt position, hours are M-F, 8 AM – 4:30 PM CST (30 minute lunch break).
  • Paid Time Off (PTO; starts accruing day one and is available for use following probationary period of 60 days)
  • Eleven paid holidays off per calendar year, 2 being floating holidays annually

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
