Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise which includes education and training, agency management, quality, clinical case management, and software technology.
Jennifer Osburn has led numerous seminars for state and national associations, accrediting bodies, and agency clients for the past 12 years. She frequently authors industry publications and has assisted home health software companies with Medicare compliant solutions. A compliant emergency preparedness program is essential for home health and hospice providers to not only respond to emergencies but also avoid citations during a Medicare survey. This session addresses the required components of an emergency preparedness program and discusses the emergency preparedness Condition of Participation and standards including the standards that surveyors will review including the required frequency to review the emergency plan, communication plan, policies and procedures and testing and training program requirements. Tips to ensure your emergency preparedness program is survey and emergency ready at all times will be provided.
