Hospice Compliance – one of the greatest challenges facing hospice providers! Constant movement in the hospice regulatory landscape, including updated hospice survey protocols. This workshop strengthens the foundation for all hospice clinical and administrative staff, including hospice billers. For more effective understanding of the Medicare regulations, this workshop will take you into that deep dive. Topics that will be addressed include: Survey Readiness, the Hospice Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, Infection Prevention & Control, Comprehensive Assessment, Plan of Care & IDG documentation. This is full day of hospice compliance that will keep your team fully prepared to remain compliant.

Hospice Eligibility requirements and the required documentation may seem routine and repetitive, but the reality is that it remains one of the leading reasons for denial. This all day session will take you through the documentation required for the patient to be hospice eligible, billing requirements and also cover the VBID model, including contracting with Medicare Advantage plans, and details surrounding Medical Review. This workshop will lay a concrete foundation for hospice billers, and any hospice staff that need to more effectively understand the Medicare regulations. The Hospice 2025 Proposed Rule will be reviewed, including any rate changes, etc. that may be contained in the rule. Be among the most prepared hospice professionals on all Hospice Medicare reimbursement related regulations.
