Hospice Compliance – daily challenges facing hospice providers! Continuous updates in the hospice landscape, including updated hospice survey protocols. This workshop will assist in strengthening the foundation for all hospice clinical and administrative staff, including hospice billers. For more effective understanding of the Medicare regulations, this workshop will take you into that deep dive. Topics that will be addressed include: Survey Readiness, Hospice QAPI, Documentation Best Practices and Details that Matter – HOPE Assessment. This is full day of hospice compliance that will keep your team fully prepared to face any and all challenges in Hospice Compliance.

Reimbursement issues do not start or stop with your billing department. Hospice Eligibility requirements, while seemingly routine, remain one of the leading reasons for denial under medical review. This all-day session will take you through the documentation required for the patient to be hospice eligible, work through the overall impact of HQRP, will highlight the 2027 Proposed Hospice rule with billing updates and provide some deep insight into details surrounding Medical Review and filing Appeals. This workshop will lay a concrete foundation for hospice billers, and any hospice staff that need to more effectively understand the Medicare documentation and billing requirements.
