10:15 AM – 11:45 AM | Patient Driven Groupings Model – PDGM (HHGM)

This session will take you into the depths of the Patient Driven Groupings Model (PDGM), which is the most significant reimbursement
change in home health since 2000. PDGM is set for implementation 01/01/20 and there are huge ramifications for home health and how
agencies will effective deal with the huge changes. One year of planning is not enough….join us for details on where to begin.

• Detail the clinical parameters of the model and how therapy will not longer impact reimbursement.

1:45 PM – 3:15 PM | Home Health Targeted Probe & Educate

This session will bring agencies up to date on the current status of the Targeted Probe & Educate initiative. The Medicare targets and
audit results for all Medicare MACs will be reviewed and tips on how to survive the audit will be reviewed. If your agency has not been
targeted that does not mean that it won’t be. Don’t miss this must hear important information.

Learning Objectives:
• Outline the Targeted Probe & Educate Initiative Workflow.
• Define Targets that have been active and results that MACs are reporting.
• Discuss the details of what is needed to appropriately respond to a Targeted Review.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM | Hospice Targeted Probe and Educate

This session will review the details of the Targeted Probe & Educate initiative and what it means for Hospice providers. Discuss the
targets that MACs are applying in the TPE reviews and the results thus far. This is a very serious audit and must be treated as such.

• Detail the Targeted Probe & Educate workflow for Hospice.
• Review the Targets being applied to select hospices for review and results being posted at the MACs.
• Outline the requirements for submitting appropriate documentation for review.

Wednesday, May 22, 2019
2:15 PM – 3:45 PM | Hospice PEPPER

Only 40% of hospices across the country have accessed their PEPPER Reports. PEPPER reports are produced from claims data and compare the agency to the National 80th Percentile as well as to all agencies in their Medicare MACs Jurisdiction. If you are above the National average you are targeted for additional reviews by the Medicare MAC, Recovery Auditors and ZPIC auditors.

• List the reasons for the PEPPER and how to access it
• Detail the Target Areas that are calculated and compared within the reports
• Review reports and identify areas that the hospice needs to work on for improvement
